  1. Hey there

Thought this was a fantastic study - unfortunately we ran out of time so didn't get to look through the passages but definitely wanna keep on thinking through them over the course of this week/month/year/rest of my life.

I found that the church is so often the bunker for me that i didn't even realise. whilst i might not go fleeing into it each week to escape the hostilities of the world, there's definitely a sense of 'this is home/this is comfortable' about it. (And to an extent rightly so i think because its God's family we're part of!)

But at the same time, we need to be like those in Jeremiah 29 in exile. God's people putting down roots, acknowledging what is true and false, but still interacting and dealing with society/creation.

By the end of our study, we all recognised that our hearts need to be committed. there's a big gap between our heart and God's heart and so we need to be committed to seeing this world in the same way that God does!

I was so tired I almost fell asleep in the study ^_^

I liked thinking about the whole inviting people into the bunker vs leaving the bunker and finding people. Good stuff to brainstorm on.
